DAISY & SHANI..both adopted to the same family, but two years apart.  Here they are with their big human brother, Skylar.

First, we have the arrival of the three Keeshond pups: KIRA, KATYA, and KEESHA.
This is
Katya (now Tilly) and her new brother

One of the Keeshond pups after arriving home, with this comment from Mom:

" Here is the newest member of the family.  Matilda (Tilly) arrived home Saturday and seems to fit right in.  She and her brother Marty are inseparable, which is nice for both of them.  She is more laid back than Marty, very sweet and gentle."

Is it at two-headed keeshond? No! It's Marty (left) andTilly (right)!

Here's a photo of Geraldine, with a lovely note from her Mom:

Dear Judith,
Thank you for bringing this wonderful dog to our home. We call her "Lucky Geraldine." She is so dear. She is the heart's dream of a puppy. Many thanks for the pictures, too,...they reflect the happiness she has brought us.

It was an inspiration to see all those people become guardians of so many fine dogs. I will never forget the experience and your care in placing your dogs.
Many thanks again.
Maggie

Here's a beautiful update photo of FLICKA, whose name is now ROXY

Lola
" Hi Judith,
I have been meaning to write to update you on Lola.  Lola has been with us for a month now and she more or less has settled in as head of the household.   Lola is exceptionally well behaved, loves her attention and play time.  She's gotten use to her routine as she senses our departures by hiding under the bed.  Lola and Mark have made the best of friends and she is simply adored and loved by all our friends.  We had a party Saturday night and Lola was so proud to show off her beautiful coat and ribbon in her hair.

We have adjusted to hearing her running up and down the stairs and skidding on the hardwood and could not imagine how it would be without Lola.  She's so inquisitive and such a little love bug, we love her very much.

Lola thanks you so much for saving her life and for bringing her to Mark and me.   We are very grateful for Lola coming to us, she's such great company and we're already very attached to her.   I want to just cry sometimes when I tell Lola she's finally home. Thanks again.

Jackie, Mark and Lola"

Hi Judith,
Just wanted to update you on how Dickens has adjusted to our home.  He is the best!!!!   We love him to death and don't know how we ever lived without this little bundle of joy and energy.  Dickens is now housebroken!!!  He won't go outside unless he has one of his many jackets on, and then off we go.  He thinks he's the house watchdog and doesn't realize that the birds that come to the birdfeeder are bigger than he is!!!!  He has the best personality and truly thinks he's a person, which I guess I think he is too.  We go to church every Sunday and the other members are surprised at how he listens to the sermons like he understands everything that is being said.  He just sits in my lap and he doesn't make a peep throughout the whole service.  I really think he knew he was home the day you put him in my arms.  I  can't thank you enough for the hard work you do and for the joy you have brought into my life.  I just can't imagine life without this little bundle of love.
Again, Judith, may God Bless You and all you do.  You have given me the most priceless gift in the world.
Much love,
Barbara

"Coco and I have become great friends I think shes a little smitten with me.I hope this finds you well. I Just wanted to say Hi and thanks again for everything! I am a perfect fit here...from my forever humans to my very best friend and brother Lucky, and all these girls!!!!   Love you always,  Jessie"
"Hi Judith,
I thought you might like to know that I am still doing great.  I’ve learned to sit, lie down, give paw and roll over. I am getting BIG, I weigh a whopping 22lbs!  Starting Monday, I am joining a dog walking group at lunch time.  I can’t wait to meet more friends.  Oh, and on Sundays, a nice man named Scott will be working with me on obedience training.  Today I went to work with mom and hung out at the office.  Here are a few pictures.  The one where I’m sitting in the chair is at the office  and the other one is at home on the couch.

Love,
Gracie"*

Three of my April arrivals (TWINKLE, HONEY, & JAVA) with their new  families.

Handsome Brody at home.

Pearl goes home!

Java goes home with his new family! Happy, Happy Day!

Waldo goes home. Happy boy! Happy Family!

TWINKLE is the little terrier mix who'd needed to have a leg amputated....Here with her new family and at home.
HONEY is one of the most gorgeous dogs we've ever seen, and she's found a soulmate in her father, Phil.  Here's a poem he wrote after she came into his life:

"Honey's Song"
Sung to the tune of Johnny Cash's "Folsom Prison"

When she was just a puppy,
she ran away from home.
She wound up in a shelter,
in a cage and on her own.

That ole'  Tennessee shelter,
where most dogs meet their end.
But through "Petfinder Rescue"
she's found her new best friend.

Now her tail is always waggin'
She gets the best of care.
When she goes out a walkin'
her head is in the air.

'Cause now she's got a family.
A place to call her own.
She no longer has to worry,
because she's home sweet home."
Alice Arrives

Here's the email update from Mom & Dad:

"I just wanted to share our homecoming with you.  Here are some of the pics that we took when we got home today.  Vegas (Lucy) already has the run of the house!  She thinks she's the queen - but she's not wrong...

I can't tell you both, how much we appreciate her (and all that you've done
for us, both Troy and myself, and Vegas).  She is truly a welcome addition
to this family - one who will be treasured for many years to come!

I just wanted to drop a line to say "thanks" ever so much!  We just love
her!   These Guardians are thankful for the opportunity to have met Lucy, I mean Vegas!

Warmest wishes to all!
Elaine & Troy"
