When Harry met Mary Jane...
"I just wanted to let you know that Harry and I have made a smooth adjustment to our new home in Pennsylvania.  Harry is thrilled we are 1/2 block from a 36 hole golf course, which gives him lots of room to chase squirrels.  He is not off of a leash ever - he is too much of a terrier - and he just may head back to Tennessee!  He is thrilled with the country - he gets lots of walks and hikes on the weekends.  Harry can out-hike everyone - we walk for 7 miles and he is still eager to keep going.. too bad I am not!! He saw his first rabbit the other day - and that was all I needed to keep him on a leash forever - he was crazy!  He has met lots of dogs - and has a few he plays with weekly.

I have also been thinking about you because this weekend it will be one year since I met Harry -  and thanks  to you he has made a huge difference in my life - so, thank you and I hope you are well - Harry and I will toast you this Saturday!

"Hi Judith, I can't thank you enough for Hannah. She is the sweetest little dog I've ever met. She slept through the night and stayed dry. Pretty amazing huh? Finley is taking his time with her, he's not sure what to make of her. She loves him, she keeps kissing him and just looks at me to make sure it's ok. She's quite the kisser and cuddler. She certainly claimed her place ands he's what we needed to complete this family.   Donna"

"The love for a well-chosen dog can transcend life itself."

Stanley Coren

Just want you to see how Joseph is settling in.  Bruce has named him Chopper due to his under bite.  It fits him well. He has a wonderful appetite, loves running in the back yard and we believe with every day it can only get better.

Monday he goes to the office for awhile to meet and socialize some then on to the store to buy him a shirt.

Again we want to say thank you for your part.  Yesterday was a special day for us seeing all those happy people and knowing each animal was placed in a very special home just like Chopper.

EVVY arrived last week and is living the good life in Vermont! Look at the cute matching sweaters she and her sister, Olive, have!

Here, GRACIE poses in her holiday sweater...

"The average dog has one request to all humankind: Love me."

— Helen Exley

"Judith...

I find myself going to your website so often and reading the great success stories you have of all the dogs you have placed. It truly is a wonderful thing you are doing and we are so blessed to have been a part of it.

Adopting Roger was the best thing that has ever happened to my husband and me. He brings such a joy to our marriage and our home. He adapted to us so well that I feel like we've had him his whole life. It makes me sad when I think that someone gave him up, but at the same time, I'm glad to have him in my life.

Roger is the center of attention every where we go! I honestly haven't met anyone who doesn't like him. He is a true gentlemen anywhere we've taken him (and we bring him everywhere!). Training has never been an issue with Roger. He listens very well and respects his new mom and dad.

He's quite an adventurer! Just recently we brought him to Canada to meet my grandmother who is in a nursing home. Well, the minute we brought him in, every resident fell in love with him immediately! Because of this wonderful experience, I'm thinking of bringing Roger to nursing homes in the Greater Manchester area. He is so gentle, calm, and easy to handle. It's like he knows that these are older people and that he needs to be extra special with them.

We also bring him fishing, boating, hiking, car rides (I recently bought him a doggie car seat that he can safely sit in AND be able to look out the car window! He loves it  (and I like how safe he is!), and whatever the agenda is for the day. He often goes to the office with my husband during the week and because I teach, he gets my full attention all summer long!

This spring we will be installing a new fence for Roger and I can't wait to see how happy he'll be. He's great on a leash, but he loves to run around and we both think it would be a great addition to the yard for him.

Roger is our child and we care for him as such. We are forever grateful to you for helping us adopt the love of our lives. I'm attaching a few updated pictures to share with his guardian angel!

Thank you again for all you did for us as well as all you do for the others! You are truly a blessing!

Sincerely,
Jenny, Michael, and Roger Caouette"
