"Thought it was about time to send an updated pic of our 'little man.' In this pic he's in the middle of playing on my bed their new favorite game diving under the pillows, rolling around, chasing after me. He's such a smart dog and so good-hearted and sensitive. Anna"

"Hi there! Just wanted to keep in touch and let you know how my "Little Man" is doing and a new picture too. Hard to believe it's been almost a year! He's such a joy and he and my poodle Phoebe are truly like little brother and big sister. They're really funny together.
He's a happy boy little tidbits of toast with apple butter with my Mom every morning (a ritual!), snuggling with her and Phoebe in her recliner, playing with his toys...He loves just being a part of all of us and we love him being part of our family. He is such an incredibly smart dog and has nothing but goodness in his heart. I can't imagine not having him share my life.

"Just wanted to give you a quick update
about our little Loki. She's gained
about 7 pounds since we first got her,
and she looks fabulous. Her coat is now silky
and shiny, and her tail is always wagging.
She is the happiest, sweetest dog, and she and Sadie are old pals now. We just love her
and can't remember when she wasn't part
of our family.
Thank you for introducing us to our sweet pea!

We love having Ginger with us and have become extremely attached to her.She has brought us so much joy! We take her for a lot of long walks as there are many state parks near our home.
|
She also likes the beach and loves to play with her toys and with other dogs. She has gained almost 10 pounds, which the vet says is perfect, and has quite a healthy appetite. And, she really likes the Nutro food that you recommended. Thank you again for everything!

"I just wanted to send you a picture of Patch doing what he loves to do. We are at a nursing home in Goffstown, NH. He is entertaining a 92-yr-old resident who the nurses thought was afraid of dogs. Turns out he didn't want to give Patch back after playing with him for almost 2 hours! (and I think Patch would have stayed there if I let him.)

Is it Patch or a reindeer???
|
Here is the updated Xmas photo and the email from Patch's Mom, Jill.
Hi Judith,
Patch is the best dog ever. My mom thinks it is her childhood dog reborn! He is sooo sweet and independent. I refer to him as my roommate because he does his own thing! He sleeps under the covers and loves to hog the bed. We are a match that will go down in history. He is the best friend I have ever had. He comes to some nursing homes with me when I work, and he acts like such a ham for the patients. He is also the most dramatic dog you will ever meet. If you ask him to do something he doesn't want to do he lays on his side and acts like he is dead. I can't even pick him up because he goes limp. We have not had an indoor accident yet or any descructive behavior. He knew this is where he was supposed to be and lives it up everyday!
Again, Thank you so much for all the wonderful work you do for everyone! You are an inspiration!
Happy Holidays, Jill Belben and Patch

CLARENCE ~ A young, sweet-as-pie terrier mix nobody wanted...Now dressed in his Christmas coat and playing in the snow in NH!
His family kept his name, after the Christmas angel in "It's a Wonderful Life," as he is their true Christmas angel!
|
"I'm sorry to inform you that.........you won't be getting Clarence back, ever! We just love the little wirey-haired guy! He's probably one of the most loving, mushy dogs I've ever had. It's as if he knows that we rescued him and he adores having a family to call his own! He actually looks like he's smiling all the time. He's just a happy camper!"
|
Ginger, happy to be with her new family.
